Love chocolate and local makers? This event is for you!
Dandelion Chocolate is a bean-to-bar chocolate factory started by Todd Masonis and Cameron Ring in 2010. Previously, Todd and Cam founded the internet company Plaxo, which they sold to Comcast in 2008. Dandelion is one of the few small-batch bean-to-bar chocolate makers in America. They source cocoa beans directly and make finished chocolate from the bean, rather than molding and working with already finished chocolate.
Todd and Cam didn't mean to start a chocolate business together, but their hobby quickly turned into a chance to bring quality, local chocolate back to the San Francisco area. Join us to hear Todd and Cam talk about growing a business together, pursuing your far-fetched ideas, and teaching yourself how to make things.
Local makers and aspiring founders will be interested in Todd and Cam's story. Bring a friend, and bring your questions about starting a business–and how their chocolate tastes so darn good! For more about Dandelion Chocolate, watch their behind-the-scenes video.
